Mail Ballot Elections
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes $ 16-558(A), an inigation district may conduct its
elections by mail ballot if the goveming board ofthe district obtains approval from the board of
supervisors of the county in which the district is located, prior to publishing the call of
election. The board ofdirectors of Paloma Irrigation and Drainage District ("PIDD"), through
its manager below, hereby requests permission from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors
to conduct a mail ballot election for the 2025 PIDD election of directors. A mail ballot election
is superior because PIDD has a small number ofelectors and they do not reside within the
boundaries of PIDD.
