RE: Fountain Hills Sanitary District
Mail Ballot Election

Dear Ms. Garza:

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes § 16-558(A), a sanitary district may conduct its board of
directors’ elections by mail ballot if the governing board of the district obtains approval from the
board of supervisors of the county in which the district is located, prior to publishing the call of
election. Fountain Hills Sanitary District hereby requests permission from the Maricopa County
Board of Supervisors to conduct a mail ballot election for the November 4, 2025 Fountain Hills
Sanitary District election of directors.
