RESOLUTION NO. R23-24  
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, 
MARICOPA 
COUNTY, 
ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT EXTENSION NO. 
ONE TO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH 
PENDERGAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 92 
(C18-0447) FOR THE USE OF THE DESERT MIRAGE JOINT 
PARK SITE.  
 
WHEREAS, on April 3, 2018, the City entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement with 
the Pendergast Elementary School District No. 92 (C18-0447) for the use of the Desert Mirage 
Joint Park Site; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City and Pendergast Elementary School District No. 92 wish to extend 
the Agreement for a five-year period, from April 3, 2023 through April 3, 2028, with no changes 
to the existing terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental Agreement. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
thereof that Intergovernmental Agreement Extension No. One (C18-0447-1) to the 
Intergovernmental Agreement with Pendergast Elementary School District No. 92 for the use of 
the Desert Mirage Joint Park Site in the City of Glendale be entered into, which agreement is now 
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2.  That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effectuate said amendment on 
behalf of the City of Glendale.

PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
