RESOLUTION NO. R23-65
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GLENDALE,
MARICOPA
COUNTY,
ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF
AMENDMENT NO. 3 OF AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX FOR THE
OPERATION OF FIXED ROUTE TRANSIT SERVICES IN THE
CITY OF GLENDALE.
WHEREAS, on June 11, 2019, City Council previously approved the entering into of an
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Phoenix (Contract. No. 150473) for the operation
of fixed route bus services in the City of Glendale (Contract No. C19-0535);
WHEREAS, on June 23, 2020, City Council previously approved Change Order No. 1 to
the Intergovernmental Agreement;
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2021, City Council previously approved Amendment No. 1 to the
Intergovernmental Agreement;
WHEREAS, on June 28, 2022, City Council approved Amendment No. 2 to the
Intergovernmental Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale and the City of Phoenix wish to further extend the
expiration date of said Intergovernmental Agreement to June 30, 2024 and amend the estimated
annual cost.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens
thereof that Amendment No. 3 (Contract No. 150473) to the Intergovernmental Agreement with
the City of Phoenix for the operation of fixed route transit services in the City of Glendale be
entered into, which said agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Glendale.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute and deliver such said Amendment No. 3 on behalf of the City of Glendale.
