RESOLUTION NO. R24-118 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING 
ACCEPTANCE AND DIRECTING THE ENTERING INTO OF THE 
GRANT-IN-AID AWARD OF $113,072 FROM THE TOHONO 
O’ODHAM 
NATION 
FOR 
THE 
CITY 
OF 
GLENDALE 
COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND ON BEHALF OF 
THE ORGANIZATIONS GFWC GLENDALE WOMAN’S CLUB, 
MARICOPA COMMUNITY COLLEGES FOUNDATION, AND 
SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE.  
 
WHEREAS, the Tohono O’odham Nation has awarded the City $113,072.00. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and the citizens 
to accept and enter into the Grant-in-Aid Agreement for the City of Glendale Community Services 
Department and the organizations GFW Glendale Woman’s Club, Maricopa Community Colleges 
Foundation, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.  
 
SECTION 2.  That the City of Glendale accept and expend the $113,072.00 award in 
accordance with the program requirements. 
 
SECTION 3.     That the City Manager or designee and City Clerk are authorized and 
directed to execute and deliver such agreement on behalf of the City of Glendale.
