RESOLUTION NO. R24-124 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING 
THE ENTERING INTO OF A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT AND 
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE AND EXPENDITURE OF 
THE 2024 ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY 
GRANT PROGRAM AWARD FOR THE 2024 URBAN AREA 
SECURITY 
INITIATIVE 
(“UASI”) 
GLENDALE 
FIRE 
DEPARTMENT RRT SUSTAINMENT (AGREEMENT NO. 240808-
01), IN THE AMOUNT OF $60,000 ON BEHALF OF THE 
GLENDALE FIRE DEPARTMENT. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes the City Manager to 
enter into a Subrecipient Agreement, to accept the 2024 Homeland Security Grant Program Award 
from the State of Arizona Department of Homeland Security, for the 2024 UASI Glendale Fire 
Department RRT Sustainment (Agreement No. 240808-01) in the amount of $60,000, on behalf 
of the Glendale Fire Department.  Said agreement is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of 
the City of Glendale. 
 
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Glendale authorizes expenditure of said 
grant funds for the 2024 UASI Glendale Fire Department RRT Sustainment. 
 
SECTION 3. That the City Manager or designee and the City Clerk be authorized and 
directed to execute any and all documents necessary to enter into said agreement and for the 
acceptance and expenditure of said grant on behalf of the City of Glendale. 
 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
