ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER

Pursuant to the Constitution of the State of Arizona, Art. 6, Sec. 24, A.R.S. 
§12-213, as amended, and Rule 96 of the Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court (RASC),  
 
IT IS ORDERED that David James Keys-Nunes is hereby appointed as a Court 
Commissioner of the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, effective February 
10, 2025, on a full-time basis, with the working title of “Commissioner.” David James 
Keys-Nunes shall serve one uninterrupted term of service, until retirement, resignation, 
or termination. 
 
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that David James Keys-Nunes shall have all such 
powers and duties pursuant to law which shall include, but not be limited to, those powers 
and duties prescribed by A.R.S. §12-213, as amended, and Rule 96, RASC, as amended. 
 
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that David James Keys-Nunes is assigned to hear 
any matter within the purview of this appointment pursuant to law. 
 
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that David James Keys-Nunes shall receive 
compensation at an annual salary of ninety percent of the salary of a judge of the Superior 
Court, which currently calculates to $171,000.00, pro-rated for the balance of calendar 
year 2025.  This appointment is conditioned upon the agreement to serve only for the 
compensation received as a Court Commissioner while employed as a Commissioner by 
the Court, and to receive no additional compensation or benefit, fiscal or otherwise, when 
acting in the capacity of a Judge Pro Tempore.
