Please provide a detailed description of the initiative, including the public benefit, areas served, and population served (please attach separate page if more space is needed): Reconstruction of the Guadalupe Town Hall parking lot. This parking lot is critical not only in the support of the essential operations the Town provides at this campus on a routine basis, but also accommodates a number of activities that allow town staff and other agencies to prepare for, prevent, and respond to public health emergencies. The Guadalupe Town Hall parking lot is located at 9241 S. Avenida Del Yaqui, Tempe The Parking lot has been the site for emergency meal delivery, COVID testing, vaccine distribution, and an event area that allows for social distancing. It is essential that this important asset is free of trip hazards and adequately handles stormwater should the need arise to respond to another health or safety crisis in the future. The Parking lot will be resurfaced, speedhumps will be installed and parking spaces will be striped to include 6 standard ADA handicap stalls. 10.
