CITY COUNCIL REPORT SUBJECT: First Amendment to CDW Government LLC Cooperative Purchasing Agreement MEETING DATE: January 14, 2025 TO: Mayor and Council FROM: Stephen Holliday, Chief Technical Officer REVIEWED: Reyes Medrano Jr., City Manager PURPOSE: The Information Technology Department is requesting the approval of the First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and CDW Government LLC for software value-added reseller services. BACKGROUND: On May 14, 2024, the City of Tolleson entered into a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with CDW Government LLC under the NASPO ValuePoint contract for Software Value Added Reseller Services. The City has identified the need to increase the compensation to the contractor to accommodate additional services and software needs. DISCUSSION: Compensation Adjustment: Increase the aggregate compensation limit from $200,000 to $250,000 per fiscal year. Payment Terms: Payments will be made as agreed upon by both parties, based on services provided during each fiscal year. Non-Default Affirmation: The Contractor confirms that the City is not in default under any terms of the agreement. Conflict of Interest Compliance: The amendment complies with A.R.S. § 38-511. BUDGET IMPACT: The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $200,000 to $250,000 for additional services. Funds for this amendment are available in the approved budget under the appropriate accounts designated for software services procurement. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council approves the First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with CDW Government LLC.
