IGA WITH ADE FOR ONE-TIME STATE GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION FOR 
JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER 
Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County through the 
Maricopa County School Superintendent and the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) for 
one-time funding for the County’s juvenile detention center in the amount of $10,000. This 
funding was appropriated in the 2023-2024 general appropriations act (Laws 2023, Ch. 133, §31) 
and will be used to purchase staff computers for the detention education program. The IGA is 
effective from date of execution through June 30, 2024.
