Project Specifics
1. Do you have specific homes and specific repair projects identified that this funding
would be used for?

If yes, please provide the number of homes, general locations (if addresses cannot be
shared), and the types of repairs planned.

If no, please clarify whether the funds would be held and allocated as requests are
received.
At this time, we do not have any specific repair projects identified. We are
continuing to take applications to identify who would need assistance and
how we can assist. Our focus is on Veterans, the elderly, and someone
who are in need of financial or physical assistance.
2. What is the anticipated timeline for identifying projects and completing the repairs once
funding is awarded?
We will be doing more advertising, educating the public, and using other
agencies to identify those in need. Our timeline is less than a year. With
Habitat for Humanity International, we are required to do a minimum of
one per year. My goal is to see how many families we can touch to make
the home a decent place to live.
Use of Funds & Decision-Making
3. If the funds are to be used as a grant-style pool, who makes the decisions on how the funds
are allocated and what oversight or approval process is in place?
Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity has a Construction Committee that
will be reviewing the applications, visiting the homeowner, and based on
our policies and procedures, will determine who to assist.
4. How will the funds be tracked and reported to the Town to demonstrate compliance with
the approved purpose?
We will have a grant spreadsheet with all the information that is required

Eligibility & Qualifying Criteria
5. What qualifying criteria will be used to determine:

Which homeowners are eligible?

What types of repairs qualify for funding?
The homeowner will need to fill out the application, stating what the
project is, who the owner of the property is. Who resides at the property?
Income? We do a background check and sex offender check. We must
ensure the house is not for sale or in foreclosure. Plus, have we helped
them in the past 
6. Are there income limits, residency requirements, age-of-home criteria, or other
thresholds applicants must meet?
Yes, there are income limits and residency requirements. No age of home
criteria, but we must be aware of hazards like lead paint, asbestos, mold,
etc. 
Alignment with Town Ordinance
7. How does this funding request specifically meet the requirements of the Town’s
ordinance related to housing or community assistance? (ordinance is attached for
reference)
This is to help with the safety of the home, which leads right into the health
of the homeowner and anyone living there. Making a decent place to live
also makes better, more productive citizens. Children thrive
