Jefferson, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Jack Sellers, Vice Chairman, District 1; Thomas Galvin, Supervisor, District 2 (remote); Bill Gates, Supervisor, District 3 (remote); Steve Gallardo, Supervisor, District 5 (remote). Absent: Clint Hickman, Chairman, District 4. Also present: Juanita Garza, Clerk; Jen Pokorski, County Manager; Mia Vargas, Minutes Coordinator; Andrea Cummings, Legal Counsel. ~ Vice Chairman Sellers was acting Chairman for this meeting in Chairman Hickman’s absence ~ 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Executive Agenda dated Monday, December 11, 2023, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Motion to approve by Supervisor Bill Gates, seconded by Supervisor Steve Gallardo Ayes: Jack Sellers, Thomas Galvin, Bill Gates, Steve Gallardo Absent: Clint Hickman MEETING RECESSED Vice-Chairman Sellers adjourned executive session to reconvene in open session. CONFLICT WAIVER REQUEST FROM PATRICK IRVINE AND FENNEMORE CRAIG Approve the conflict waiver request from Patrick Irvine and Fennemore Craig, to permit the firm to represent the Phoenix Rescue Mission in a contract review and in contract monitoring of the Rescue Mission's contract with County Human Services, as discussed in executive session on December 11, 2023.
