RESOLUTION NO. 5869

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER,
ARIZONA, ADOPTING TIER I WATER ALLOCATIONS UNDER CITY CODE
CHAPTER 52 ARTICLE VI, SUSTAINABLE WATER ALLOCATION

REGULATIONS.

WHEREAS, the City of Chandler has long been committed to the careful and sustainable
management of its water resources to ensure sufficient water to meet the needs of Chandler

residents and businesses at build-out and beyond; and

WHEREAS, in furtherance of the City’s commitment to sustainable water resource management,
in 2015 the City Council passed Ordinance 4634 enacting new Sustainable Water Allocation

Regulations; and

WHEREAS, concurrent with the adoption of the Sustainable Water Allocation Regulations, the
City Council adopted Tier I water allocations for new non-residential water uses within the City;
and

WHEREAS, concurrently with this Resolution, the City Council is amending the Sustainable
Water Allocation Regulations to include high density residential uses, and it is therefore necessary
to adopt Tier I water allocations for such uses.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona,
adopting Tier I water allocations as follows:
