RESOLUTION NO. 5919 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING SUPPORT FOR THE EXPANSION OF INTEL’S 
APPROVED SUBZONE FOR THE FOREIGN TRADE ZONES PROGRAM TO 
INCLUDE ADDITIONAL SITES IN THE CITY, AND APPROVING RELATED 
AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT 
WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX DATED NOVEMBER 12, 1993, TO INCLUDE 
ADDITIONAL WAREHOUSE FACILITIES IN CHANDLER LOCATED AT 
6615 W. FRYE ROAD, 6760 W. CHICAGO STREET, AND 555 E. QUEEN 
CREEK ROAD. 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Phoenix has received a grant from the federal Foreign-Trade Zones Board 
to establish Foreign Trade Zone (“FTZ”) No. 75 and the City of Chandler does not have any such 
grant of authority; and 
 
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2182 approved by the Chandler City Council on November 4, 1993, 
authorized the execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of 
Chandler and the City of Phoenix (“Parties”) for the purpose of assisting Intel in obtaining FTZ 
Subzone status for Intel’s FAB-12 facility in Chandler (“Ocotillo Campus Intel Facilities”); and  
 
WHEREAS, this Intergovernmental Agreement was executed by the City of Chandler and the City 
of Phoenix on November 12, 1993; and 
 
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2259 approved by the City of Chandler City Council on June 23, 
1994, authorized the execution of Amendment Number One to the Agreement to modify certain 
responsibilities and obligations of the Parties related to Intel’s FTZ Subzone; and 
 
WHEREAS, Amendment Number One of this Agreement was executed by the City of Chandler 
and the City of Phoenix on July 5, 1994; and 
 
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4273 approved by the City of Chandler City Council on March 26, 
2009, authorized the execution of Amendment Number Two to the Agreement to allow for FTZ 
Subzone status of future modifications to the Ocotillo Campus Intel Facilities; and 
 
WHEREAS, Intel is now requesting the support of the City of Chandler and the City of Phoenix 
to expand its FTZ Subzone to include additional warehouse facilities in Chandler located at 6615 
W. Frye Road, 6760 W. Chicago Street, and 555 E. Queen Creek Road (“Sites”); and 
 
WHEREAS, Intel agrees to not pursue classification of any real or personal property at the Sites 
as Class 6 to receive the beneficial state tax treatment available to an activated FTZ Operator; and 
 
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Chandler and City of Phoenix to amend the 
Agreement to support FTZ Subzone status for the additional Intel Sites in Chandler.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section 1. 
Authorizing the City of Chandler’s support of FTZ Subzone status for Intel’s 
warehouse facilities located at 6615 W. Frye Road, 6760 W. Chicago Street, and 
555 E. Queen Creek Road, in Chandler, Arizona. 
Section 2. 
Authorizing the City of Chandler’s support of Intel’s application to expand its FTZ 
Subzone located within FTZ No. 75. 
Section 3. 
Approving Amendment No. 3 to the Intergovernmental Agreement between the 
City of Chandler and the City of Phoenix dated November 12, 1993, attached as 
Exhibit “A” to this Resolution and authorizing the Mayor to execute the 
Amendment on behalf of the City of Chandler.
