1. AIDA RENTA, ET AL V. MARICOPA COUNTY, ET AL, CV1996-016474 AND AIDA RENTA ET AL, V. FULTON BROCK, ET AL, TX2007-000460 Authorize settlement in the amount of $8,000,000 of Aida Renta, et al, v. Maricopa County, et al, CV1996-016474 and Aida Renta, et al, v. Fulton Brock, et al, TX2007-000460, consistent with the terms discussed by the Board of Supervisors in Executive Session on April 26, 2010. (C-19-10-032-M-00)

2. REVISION TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY ESTABLISHING OUTSIDE BANK ACCOUNTS POLICY 1) Adopt policy A2504, “Establishing Outside Bank Accounts Policy.” This policy rescinds and supersedes the previous policy A2504 issued by the County Manager in May of 2000. And, 2) direct the County Manager or his designee(s), to require all Maricopa County departments, and elected offices (including the Maricopa County Superior Court and Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court) that currently utilize outside bank accounts, to submit new requests for approval for each current account to the County Manager, or his designee(s) pursuant to new policy A2504, by June 28, 2010. The intent of the policy is to establish the procedures, maintenance and reporting requirements for all Maricopa County Outside Bank Accounts for all Maricopa County departments, and elected offices (including the Maricopa County Superior Court and Maricopa County Clerk of the Superior Court). The policy authorizes the County Manager, or his designee(s), to be responsible for managing policy compliance. (C-20-10-049-6-00)

CONFLICT WAIVER REQUEST FOR GUST ROSENFELD Approve a request for a limited waiver of conflict of interest by the law firm of Gust Rosenfeld for the sole purpose of representing and negotiating an IGA on behalf of the City of Tol l eson to construct street improvements. The conflict waiver request does not involve, and this waiver does not extend to, litigation against Maricopa County. Discussed in executive session on May 26, 2010. (C-06-10-473-M-00)
