1. ¶ CALL TO ORDER A JOINT MEETING OF THE LOCAL FIRE AND POLICE BOARDS Chair Charles Erickson called the joint meeting of the Local Fire and Police Boards to order at 9:30 a.m.

4. ¶ INTRODUCTION OF THE LOCAL BOARDS' NEW INDEPENDENT LEGAL COUNSEL Information and discussion only - this item was not on agenda for action.

5. ¶ DISCUSSION OF THE NEW PSPRS MODEL RULES & THE CURRENT LOCAL BOARDS' BYLAWS AND POSSIBLE ACTION A motion was made by Mayor Jerry Weiers and seconded by Police Board Member Justin Harris to adopt the updated version of their Bylaws with the changes suggested by Board Attorney Cynthia Kelley.

10. ¶ APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES A motion was made by Board Member Justin Harris and seconded by Board Member Kevin Phelps to approve the minutes from the January 26, 2022 Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Local Police Board meeting.

11. ¶ NEW BUSINESS There was no new business for open session.

12. ¶ EXECUTIVE SESSION A motion was made by Board Member Justin Harris and seconded by Board Member Kevin Phelps to go into executive session for the purpose of discussion and consideration of records exempt by law from public inspection and consultation with the Board's attorney.
