43. FY 2025 APPORTIONMENT OF NATIONAL FOREST FEES Pursuant to Public Law 60-136 and A.R.S. §11-497, approve the updated apportionment of $332,772.53 of National Forest Fees for FY 2024-25/FFY 2024 due to the reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools (SRS) program. Also, pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17106(B), authorize the Office of Budget and Finance to make the following FY 2027 Revised budget adjustments at the beginning of FY 2027: a) Increase the expenditure authority for the Transportation (D640) Transportation Grants Fund (223) Non-Recurring Non-Project (NRNP) by $1,912. b) Increase the expenditure authority for the Emergency Management (D150) Emergency Management Fund (215) Non-Recurring Non-Project (NRNP) by $25,320. c) Decrease the expenditure authority in the Non Departmental (D470) Non Departmental Grants Fund (249) Non-Recurring Non-Project (NRNP) Contingency (4711) in the line “Unassigned Contingency” by $27,232. The County Treasurer’s Office received the original FFY 2024 National Forest Fees payment in April 2025 for $116,252.87 and the remaining reauthorized payment was received in March 2026 for $216,519.66 for an updated payment amount of $332,772.53. The $332,772.53 represents Maricopa County’s share of the National Forest Fees Apportionment. These fees will be allocated as described below: County School Superintendent (370) School Grants Fund (715): $304,378.35 Transportation (640) Transportation Grants Fund (223): $3,074.53 Emergency Management (150) Emergency Management Fund (215): $25,319.65 County School Superintendent’s FY 2026 indirect rate is 1.01% resulting in $3,043.48 of full indirect cost recovery. Transportation's FY 2026 indirect rate is 31.38% resulting in $734.35 of full indirect costs recovery. Emergency Management's FY 2026 indirect rate is 8.85% resulting in $2,058.60 of full indirect costs recovery. (C-18-25-081-X-01)
