26. AMENDMENT TO REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF SCOTTSDALE Approve and execute the Renewal to the Revocable License Agreement (P-50303) between City of Scottsdale (“City” or “Licensor”) and Maricopa County (“County” or “Licensee”). The City owns the property located at 6535 East Osborn Road, Scottsdale, AZ. The County’s Human Services Department utilizes a portion of the property to provide Head Start services. The Amendment extends the license term from June 30, 2023, through June 30, 2024, and allows the Assistant County Manager for Maricopa County and/or the Real Estate Director for Maricopa County to administer this Agreement. Maricopa County, as Licensee, has been at this location for 20 years. This Amendment will modify the terms and term of the Agreement. The term of the renewal will commence July 1, 2023 and expire June 30, 2024. The Licensor shall provide 3,090 square feet of classroom space and additional playground area space for Head Start program activities. Use of the Premises will be weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the term. The Use Fee rate will be $7,725.00, plus $3,152 for utility costs per quarter. Annual costs will be $43,507 plus rental tax for an annual total of $44,595. Approval of this Amendment will not impact the County General Funds. Supervisor District: 2 (C-22-20-048-3-01)
