64. AGREEMENT WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3 AND THE CITY OF TEMPE Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 (“District”) and the City of Tempe (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department Early Education Division. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish a collaboration between the Parties that will address expanding high-quality pre-school in the City of Tempe and the District’s boundaries. The County will p rovide funding that will help to increase instructional annual hours for enrolled Head Start children. The District will provide high quality early education to children, at no cost to families of Head Start eligible program participants. The City will pro vide additional Pre-K scholarships with extended hours up to a 10-hour day. In addition to funding, the County will ensure Office of Head Start (“OHS”) performance measures and program requirements are incorporated into the District’s classroom. The Agre ement term is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2024 and shall be effective upon approval and signature by all Parties. The County shall provide a not to exceed amount of $266,240 (FY23: $133,120, FY24: $133,120) for program activities. 69. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3 AND THE CITY OF TEMPE Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 (“District”), the City of Tempe (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”), administered by its Human Services Department Early Education Division. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish a collaboration between the Parties that will address expanding high-quality pre-school in the City of Tempe and the District’s boundaries. The purpose of the Amendment No. 1 is to address the following: A. Revise Paragraph 15.0 (Safeguarding of Participant Information), to modify language to change “County and City” to “Each Party.” B. Revise Paragraph 17.0 (Non-Liability), to modify language to change “County or City” to “Each Party.” All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect as approved and amended. 32. AMENDMENT TO THE IGA WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3 AND THE CITY OF TEMPE Approve financial Amendment No. 3 to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 (“District”), the City of Tempe (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”), administered by its Human Services Department Early Education Division. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish a collaboration between the Parties that will address expanding high-quality pre-school in the City of Tempe and the District’s boundaries. The purpose of the Amendment No. 3 is to address the following: A. Extend the Agreement termination date from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025 (1st renewal option) B. Revise Section 6.0 (Funding), by removing subsection 6.2 and 6.4 in its entirety and replacing it with new funding increase language and Assistance Listing Number (ALN) for funding source. C. Revise Section 9.0 (Responsibilities of Organizations), by removing subsection 9.1.1.1 in its entirety and replacing with revise language outlining instructional staff in each classroom. D. The Agreement funding amount shall be increased from $266,240 to $441,905. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement and previously fully executed Amendments shall remain the same and unchanged and in full force and effect as approved and amended. 56. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3 AND THE CITY OF TEMPE Approve financial Amendment No. 4 to the Intergovernmental Agreement between Tempe Elementary School District No. 3 (“District”), the City of Tempe (“City”) and Maricopa County (“County”), administered by its Human Services Department Early Education Division. The purpose of the Agreement is to establish a collaboration between the Parties that will address expanding high-quality pre-school in the City and the District’s boundaries. The purpose of the Amendment No. 4 is to address the following: A. Revise Section 6.0 (FUNDING) which increases fiscal year 2025 funding by $3,803 for Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA). Total funding is increased from $161,833 to $165,636. B. The Agreement funding amount shall be increased from $441,905 to $445,708. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement and previously fully executed Amendments shall remain the same and unchanged and in full force and effect as approved and amended.
