27. AGREEMENT WITH HEALTH CURRENT Approve the Participation Agreement and Scope of Work (SOW) for the Health Information Exchange (HIE)/Health Current, a Contexture Company, which is an important Electronic Health Record (EHR) interface for Maricopa County Correctional Health Services (CHS). This interface allows for the EHR to communicate with Health Current, allowing for the secure transfer of patient health information such as medical records, lab results, and prescriptions. The interface ensures compliance with data standards, facilitating efficient and accurate sharing of information to support coordinated patient care across healthcare providers within the state’s network. The term of this Participation Agreement will begin on the Effective Date and will continue until December 31 of that year (the “Initial Term”), or until terminated as set forth in Section 9.2. This Participation Agreement will automatically renew for additional one year terms (each a “Renewal Term”) after the Initial Term for a period of ten years, unless terminated as set forth in Section 9.2.
