42. AGREEMENT WITH INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATIVE SERVICE Approve an Agreement for Independent Investigative Services between Maricopa County on Behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Baseline Investigations, an Arizona Private Investigation Agency, License Number 171229. This agreement is coincidental to IGA with City of Phoenix concerning independent investigator service. The term is nine months beginning August 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023. This agreement may be renewed for up to six months or on a month-to-month basis not to exceed the term or funding of the IGA with the City of Phoenix. Rates to be paid are $150 per hour per investigator and $75 per hour for travel time and mileage reimbursement at the current GSA rate of $0.625 per mile. The investigator will perform duties that enable professional reports and findings to the designated prosecuting agency. Duties also include working with MCSO’s designated resource contact for professional assistance, report review, and use of MCSO’s investigative resources such as interview rooms. (C-50-23-005-X-00)
