71. 250024-CMR, WEST VALLEY ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL FACILITY PHASE 2-GMP 1 Approve and award the Phase 2, GMP 1 Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) construction services contract between Maricopa County and Kitchell Contractors, Inc. of Arizona in a not to exceed amount of $33, 949,179.00 for the West Valley Animal Care and Control Facility. This project is located at 10139 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85307. The Phase 2, GMP 1 services will include: site utilities, foundations, masonry and PEMB (pre-engineered metal building). Phase 2 GMP 1 construction services duration is 587 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Phase 2 GMP 2 is forthcoming and will encompass the remaining construction services necessary to complete site development and facility construction, as well as establish the overall duration required to achieve project completion.
