2. AMENDMENT TO FIVE-YEAR TECHNOLOGY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE TREASURER TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM UPGRADE In accordance with A.R.S. § 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2016 Non Departmental (470) Technology Capital Improvement Fund (460): a) Decrease the Project Reserve (PRSA) by $3,005,149 from $8,441,465 to $5,436,316. This funding was reserved for the Treasurer Technology System Upgrade project. b) Increase the expenditure authority for the Treasurer Technology System Upgrade (TTSU) by $3,005,149 from $1,558,535 to $4,563,684. This change will increase the total project budget from $1,558,535 to $4,563,684. c) Direct the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to budget the future year’s project expenditures for this capital project for a total one-time project implementation cost of $35,587,599. d) Direct the Office of Management and Budget to increase the operating budget for the support of the new Treasurer’s Technology System Upgrade in the amount required annually for Aumentum, Dynamics and Sympro to provide the contracted maintenance services in the appropriate fiscal years as the new system is brought online. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. With the implementation of this project, the Treasurer’s Office will accrue operational savings in the amount of $378,789 for FY 2017 and $378,249 for FY 2018 that will be used to partially fund the project’s implementation costs. This funding is for the next phase of the Treasurer's Information System (TIS) replacement project. (C-43-15-021-2-03)
