1. CONTRACT WITH CRISIS RESPONSE NETWORK CRN/211 Approve a Competition Impracticable contract with Crisis Response Network, CRN/211. CRN/211, as the sole provider of community information and referral services in Arizona, has the infrastructure and a training protocol in place which are two essential factors needed to support the COVID 19 Contact Tracing Program. CRN/211 will provide the following support functions related to Contact Tracing, which will include but are not limited to: (1) Reaching out to case contacts of the positive cases and providing guidance on what symptoms to look out for and what to do should they become symptomatic; (2) Providing virtual case management to case contacts such as where to go get tested, how to get signed up for health insurance, how to get eviction assistance services and what food resources are available; (3) Supporting MCDPH staff by providing virtual case management to positive cases such as ensuring isolated individuals have basic needs met; and (4) Collecting data on service needs to ensure the unintended consequences of disease mitigation (self-isolation, quarantine, etc.) do not go unaddressed. The estimated expense for the contract is $4,484,016.23. The contract as outlined in the attached “Background and Description” document is subject to final approval by the County Attorney’s Office prior to final contract execution. (C-06-20-502-3-00)
