11. TRANSFER OF EXPENDITURE AUTHORITY FOR OVERTIME NET ZERO IMPACT In accordance with A.R.S.§42-17106(B), approve the transfer of expenditure authority between the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Melendres Operating (MEL0) budget and the Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) budget in an amount not to exceed $3,907,228. This action will require an expenditure appropriation adjustment decreasing FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Melendres Operating (MEL0) in the amount of not to exceed ($3,907,228) and increasing the FY 2016 Sheriff’s Office (500) General Fund (100) Operating (0000) by an amount of not to exceed $3,907,228. Duties and functions associated with implementation of the Melendres Court Order have been embedded across the organization making it increasingly difficult to discern overtime that is 100% attributable to Melendres functions from overtime regularly incurred through the course of business. Approval of this item re-appropriates funding to recognize this situation. (C-50-16-090-M-00)

71. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET OF PAINT STRIPERS Approve a one-time addition to the County fleet for the Transportation Department by retaining current asset #471101, Paint Striper, for use as a backup vehicle to maintain production when the primary stripers are down for maintenance. Deleting and sending current asset #45503, Paint Striper, to surplus auction (originally approved by the Board of Supervisors, C-64-15-003-M-00, to retain as a spare). Paint striping trucks have very specialized equipment mounted on a standard 2.5 ton truck. By their nature these pieces of equipment require frequent service, and are out of production approximately 25% of the time. These specialized trucks are not available for rental, resulting in reduced ability to meet production goals and critical maintenance requirements. The extra paint striping truck requested herein is an existing truck that we are requesting be kept in service to support our pavement marking operations. The current paint striper is within its replacement period and is not reliable enough for everyday use, but would work well as an interim backup piece of equipment. Operations and maintenance cost are anticipated to be $5,000 and will be covered using Roadway Maintenance Division budgeted funds. Supervisory District: All (C-64-16-119-M-00)
